Macchapucchare

Macchapucchare Grade; 3 Days;8-10

This 8 to 10 day trail climbs quickly out of the Pokhara Valley and reaches Odane Hill (2400 m) in a rhododendron forest on the ridgeline to Macchapucchare on the second day.

On days 3 and 4 altitudes of 3660 m are reached as the ridge leads on to the high pasture at the foot of the south face of Macchapucchare (6997 m).

The return is usually via the farming village of Ghachok, the hot spring at Diprang Bridge and then through the superb gorge of the seti river.
