Manaslu / Dudh Pokhari
Treks generally take from 15 to 23 days and can either start
from the Marshyangdi Valley or from Gorkha ascending through
fine forested country to the Dudh Pokhari (lake) area.
Depending on the length of the trek, a period can spent exploring
high up in this area before returning. Time permitting, and in
the right season, the remote Rupina La Pass can be crossed.
The trail drops down the northern side to the Chuling Glacier
and then turns east through the steep forested upper reaches
of the Darondi Khola before turning south to Gorkha.
