The temple lies in between Indrachowk and Asan but it is not distinct until you reach it because of the houses clustered around it.

A variety of images, paintings, intricate carvings and other works of artistic ingenuity can be seen inside the temple of Seto Machindranath (the white Bouddha of compassion).

There is a white coloured image of Kakeshwara and it is because of its colour that the local people seem to prefer calling a festival Seto Maachhindranath which takes place each year in the month of Chaitra (March-April).
