Kumbheshwor Temple is located between Mangal Bazaar in Patan and Sankhamul. It is one of only two five-tiered structures designed in the pagodic style.

Thousands of devotees gather here every year for ritual bathing during the Janai Purnima festival which takes place from July to August.
