The only zoo in the kingdom is in Jawalakhel, which houses exotic animals and various species of birds from south Asia.

Those interested in vegetation, can study plants here because the zoo also has a rich colleciton of Himalayan fauna.

The zoo is open from 10 am to 5 pm daily.
