Biking tours are a cheap, environmentally friendly and healthy way of seeing what Nepal has to offer - both in terms of the stunning natural landscape and in terms of the villages, hamlets and cities there to be visited en route. There are some terrific hill and mountain roads to challenge even the keenest cyclists - and plenty to make a 'mountain bike' fit for its name. Tours can last for one day, visiting obscure villages, temples and by ways around the Kathmandu or Pokhara Valley. Two or three day tours can take in the scenic view points of Nagarkot or Dhulikhel. Longer tours run from Kathmandu all the way to the southern Terai region and Royal Chitwan National Park. Groups of experienced cyclists can fly to Lhasa, Tibet and ride back to Kathmandu. If you're interested in prices or want to organise someone to meet you / collect the bike(s) or suggest a programme, let us know what you're looking for and we'll make enquiries to find the best option(s) on your behalf. |
