Morning nature walks and bird watching tours are included in our package deal. In all, the Royal Chitwan National Park has some 350 species of birds, including native and migrating varieties. And then there are bats, dragonflies, butterflies and other fascinating species to enjoy. The mix of tropical forests, water marshes and bushy ground is perfect for birds to flourish - if you needed a reminder that you are in a tropical jungle, you have only to listen to the rich array of birdsong, enjoyed in its full glory during the morning chorus. Just a few species to be found include peacocks, kingfishers, parots, (short snouted) Marsh Muggers and (long snouted) Gharials.
