Most accommodation available at Chitwan equates roughly to two star standards familiar in the West. Most accommodation (inside or outside the jungle) includes mosquito netting, en-suite bathrooms with tub, shower, running hot & cold water plus the standard 110 / 240 volt shaving socket.

Many lodges & hotels have air conditioning although mostly in the form of a large ceiling fan. For air conditioning units, satellite TV etc., you'll need a four star hotel such as Tiger Tops Lodge. Having visited Chitwan, we recommend Travellers' Jungle Camp (least expensive and located outside the Park boundaries) or Tiger Camp (more upmarket though still in the 2 star bracket and located inside the Park boundaries).
