The hand crafted jewellery, textiles, paintings and other products shown in the e-bazaar are available at Nepalese prices - offering considerable savings on the cost of buying comparable goods in the West. Individual items are not priced because of currency fluctuations but here are some typical examples:

Sapphire, Ruby or Emerald and Diamond rings, beautifully cut and set in gold range from 35 to 100 US Dollars each. Hand painted Thankas range from 100 to 2000 US Dollars, depending upon size, the intricacy of design and amount of gold used. Hand embroidered, crewel and natural silk cushion covers start at around 10 US Dollars each. Sapphire necklaces are available for under one US Dollar per carot. The ruby, sapphire, emerald & diamond necklace featured (right) costs less than two US Dollars per carot. The broach retails for under 100 US Dollars.
